Analyzing your traffic with free tools
How much traffic are you getting? Do you analyze them?
Recently, I have a small chat with my new friend how to make money online. And we took out the topic of SEO to chat a bit. We talked about analyzing the traffic that is generated so I will like to recommend 2 free tools to him for some free analyzing.
1)The Google Analytics.
Google Analytics is one free tools provided by Google. It provides a high level of tools that you can analyze with your traffic. First of all, you need to install it by putting a javascript code into the page. If you want to analyze your whole website, I will suggest you putting it in the header.
Google Analytics provides features like statistics of countries which the visitors are from, what keywords does the visitors used to find your website or even how long does your visitors stay on your website. How many pages on your website has your visitor view, it’s all recorded in it.
This tool is much more to advanced SEO-ers who want to analyze it to a deeper depth of their visitors. For beginners, I do not recommend this.
2) 103 Bees
103 Bees is a website that provides free analyzing for websites. Alike to Google Analytics, it needs to be installed by inserting a javascript code into it.
103 Bees actually helps you analyze the traffic that you generate in a very broad term. It will help you analyze whether are the traffic, by search engines, manual entry or paid traffic.
If the traffic is paid traffic, meaning it is by some other PPC or Google Adwords, you need to add a parameter to the back of the URL in order for 103 Bees to differentiate it from normal traffic. 103 Bees also help you keep track what visitors used to find your website too.
These 2 free tools is actually well-known to most affiliate marketers or SEO-experts. There are other paid tools and recently, I have bought a SEO tool that cost me 400+ USD. Hopefully it will justify its price!
