Google’s SiteMap - Another way to ping Google

I believe that most of us wants to get free traffic from Google to make money online but it’s never an easy job to do so. However, to make benefits for both of us, the webmasters and Google, they has provide us with a number of free tools. In this post, I am going to talk about the sitemap in Search Engine Optimization. I have taken a snapshot of the sitemap of this website which is below.
Google’s Webmaster Tools
If you are webmaster, you should know that Google provides a set of webmaster tools that can help webmasters to analyze their website better. Google’s WebMaster Tools consist of a number of tools from, 404 errors to which keyword are your website listed and what are the rankings. In there, there is a tool to upload your website. Or should I say, providing a sitemap to Google.
SiteMaps section in Webmaster Tools
In the Sitemaps section, you will be able to provide a link of your sitemap to let Google index your page. If your website is a blog by WordPress, there is a plugin that you can use that will automatically ping Google, Yahoo, and Ask with your sitemap whenever you post. SiteMaps
SiteMaps are XML files that shows all your links that are in your website. It provides a basic architecture of your website and allows the robot from search engines to crawl better. If you want to have a better ranking, it will be based on how the search engines spiders perform on your website and this sitemap will help.
Google’s Promise to the sitemap
Upon providing the sitemaps to Google, Yahoo, or Ask, they will know what is your URLs and they will know where to crawl. However, it is not guaranteed that all your URLs will be crawled. Even so, it will be better to provide it, rather without it.
Sitemaps is a good format that you can use to let search engines know the structure of your website. And in this way, spiders will be able to crawl smoothly, which favors the search engine. So, have you got your Google XML Sitemaps?
