Many internet marketers beginners tends to have too much goals at the same time. This often make them exhausted, angry, and little results from the efforts they made. The main key to success is to stay focus at one goal before you move on to the next goal.
Mistake 3 : Not having a targeted niche
Having a more targeted niche will make your path easier. Try conquering the smaller niches first before you start moving on to the bigger niche. And you will be much more financial stable. Targeting big niches need some investments and some funds. Try gaining some small income first.
Mistake 4 : Having the wrong business idea
Before you start developing a service, product, or information, research the demand and competition of the product. Do not waste time developing a product that has low demand or too much competition.
Mistake 5 : Falling into HYIP or Get-Rich-Overnight programs
Remember this phrase? If something is too good to be true, it usually is. A lot of people are still buying those products that promise unlimited wealth overnight. But sadly, they often find themselves with empty promises.
Before you buy any product, do some research whether is it a type of product that offers empty promises. This will save you some money, time, and a lot of sleepless nights!
Mistake 6 : Going to it instead of growing with it
Internet is the best media to reach out for your potential customers. But you are still building up your business and do not expect to be successful overnight. Do not give up what you are doing currently and expect you will get rich from the business you started yesterday!
Make sure your business is able to let you quit your job before you decide.
Mistake 7 : Doing what others is doing
Copying others will not bring you far as others are always coming out with new ideas. Do you know what’s the hottest internet business? It’s how to make money online! Because everyone is copying each other ideas and the competition level keep going up!
In internet, if you stands differently from the pack, you will stand out. And you will have a higher chance of succeeding on the internet.

If your website does not have a good idea of making money, no matter how nice you design the website, it will still be useless. In actual fact, a lot of simple and inexpensive businesses can bring in a lot of revenue. As long as it’s a good idea to make money, it will bring in revenue even though it looks simple.
Mistake 9 : Not building a relation with your potential customers
Imagine a website who you don’t know who is the webmaster, is asking you to buy his $20 product. How will you react? I bet your reaction will not be too good.
The first step is to collect your potential customers’ information and follow up from there. Remember, you have to build the relation with your customer so they will trust you and buy your product.
Mistake 10 : Quitting too soon
Doing a business takes a lot of effort. If you are not ready to make these effort, you will never succeed. And in most of the cases, you will need to invest a lot of time. Keep injecting new ideas to your business and make it profitable. Maybe your business just need time to get on your track!
Mistake 11 : Too Thrifty
It’s a good habit to save money. However, some times, some money are worth the spent. For example, web hosting can be really cheap but cheap items are not always good. I personally went for cheap and expensive thing, but eventually, I found out that cheap things are low quality and expensive things might not be the thing you want.
